Truman Market’s run by the Truman Brewery commissioned me to create a series of window art to promote and advertise their March Design & Craft Fair.

This fair, I previously traded at during December and thoroughly enjoyed it, so I was delighted to be asked to return and add the creative flair to their windows after putting forward my design concepts.

Using Posca Paint Pens I was able to create a vivid and playful design, in keeping with my style and typical colour palette. I submitted a design that featured characters used throughout my work alongside imagery associated with design and craft while trying to incorporate spring designs that celebrate the new season.

A focus also on the fun aspects of being a creative felt important to play with through the inclusion of artist tools such as the paintbrush and also the tongue-in-cheek phrasing of ‘Home-Grown’ Artists.
